After graduated from the London College of Fashion in 2020, Hanying established her eponymous brand in 2019. Her collections are distinctive to the sense of contemporary romanticism and natural beauty.

After graduated from the London College of Fashion in 2020, Hanying established her eponymous brand in 2019. Her collections are distinctive to the sense of contemporary romanticism and natural beauty.

The designs are inspired by the traditional Japanese aesthetics, Wabi-sabi—— an imperfect, impermanent and incomplete beauty, whose stories are being told by the elements in the balance of fine gold, crystals, sterling silver and local pearls from the designer’s hometown, Zhejiang (a seaside city in China).

The brand debuted in the UK and since then it has gained a growing popularity in London, Paris and over 30 cities in China. Within 2020 alone, the venture expanded its partnership to over 60 stockists including Galeries Lafayette Shanghai and Beijing. Customers adore the brand which has yielded high sales and quick turnover, especially with the signature pearl pieces and mini bag series.

As one of the most exciting emerging brands in China, HANYING Jewellery was worn by various celebrities and influences both internationally and within China (e.g. Charlotte Dos Santos, Shu Qi, Liying Zhao, Yangzi, Dujuan), and is regularly featured in publications such as Vogue HongKong, Marie Claire China, and other 10 Magazine.
